Wish List
We are always in need of laptop computers to enable our students to do assignments or projects off-site. We appreciate receiving these computers complete with cables.
Digital cameras are very useful for our students who are required to complete a number of field trips as part of their course load. Cameras complete with memory cards are most appreciated.
New and used clothing and footwear is always welcome. Most of our students live on subsistence income and rarely have enough to buy clothing.

Lucy is an exception for the Learning Center as she is 42 years old and has spent a great many years trying to obtain an education, while supporting herself. It has been a long, uphill battle, yet she perseveres. With the help of The Learning Center, she is working her way to completing high school.
Lucy is determined to learn English and teach it. Knowing English, she believes, is essential if a young person is to get anywhere.
“I will get to the top of my own mountain by the time I am 50,” Lucy says. “Then, I will be able to give back to others what has been given to me.”
